True inclusion begins with awareness. At Jalah Disable Society, we actively work to change how society views and treats people with disabilities. Our Community Awareness & Accessibility Advocacy program focuses on education, accessibility, and social participation.

We organize workshops, street campaigns, and community interactions to challenge stereotypes and spread understanding about disability rights. By engaging schools, local governments, and youth groups, we encourage empathy, respect, and inclusion in everyday life.

Another major part of our advocacy is pushing for accessible infrastructure — ramps in public buildings, inclusive toilets, sign language interpretation, and better transportation access. These small changes make a huge difference in the daily lives of persons with disabilities.

We also celebrate key events such as International Day of Persons with Disabilities to highlight achievements, share stories, and strengthen the voice of the disabled community.

Our goal is to create a Nepal where disability is never seen as weakness, but as part of human diversity. Through awareness and advocacy, Jalah Disable Society continues to open minds, remove barriers, and promote equality for all.
